Welcome to Whispering Pines

This 130 year old home offers modern comforts amongst its many antiques and old Victorian atmosphere. It sits on six and a half acres, is surrounded by 100 year old pine trees, lovely flower gardens, and a water garden with fountains.  We’re located on the Northwest edge of historic Nebraska City and you’ll be only blocks from the many local area attractions.

You’ll be welcomed with tasty snacks and beverages to get you settled, then it’s up to you how you choose to spend your time behind the pines.

  • Relax on the wraparound porch, swing in the hammock or picnic in the gardens
  • Sip a glass of wine while watching the birds, bunnies and squirrels, and you might even see a turkey or a deer!
  • Wrap yourself in a Whispering Pines signature robe and head out for a soak in the outdoor hot tub
  • Curl up with your sweetheart for quiet time together or a movie in your room
  • Play a game with your girlfriends and laugh the night away
  • Wake to the wonderful smell of fresh ground coffee brewing and indulge in a full gourmet breakfast
