This August, sisters Jaspar Lepak and Janelle Loes embark on their first collaborative tour! With a car packed full of guitars, fresh songs, and a winning combination of smart pop and heart-felt folk/Americana, these talented performers are turning heads everywhere they go!
Jaspar Lepak’s remarkable gift for melody is only surpassed by her poetry. “Singing with the kind of Americana, lullaby ghost of a voice that listeners search for in roots music” (Twin Cities A.V. Club), Lepak is best known for her bell-like voice and introspective storytelling. Janelle Loes also knows how to spin a song and mesmerize an audience. Fusing elements of jazz, pop, and adult contemporary music, her style is both catchy and soothing while her voice is “reminiscent of Norah Jones with hints of Regina Spektor and Fiona Apple” (So Scottsdale). Combine Janelle’s rich, expressive tone with Jaspar’s heart-penetrating clarity, and you have two voices that are compelling, delightful, and disarmingly sincere.
Jaspar Lepak is a folk/Americana songstress whose remarkable gift for melody is only surpassed by her poetry. Playful, intimate, heartfelt, and intense, her lyrics expose a brave vulnerability as well as an art for storytelling, while her clear, strong voice penetrates the heart. Lepak charms as she stirs, and her performances pull your heart onto your sleeve and make you want to keep it there.
Janelle Loes is an emerging singer/songwriter who knows how to spin a song and mesmerize an audience. Fusing elements of jazz, pop, and adult contemporary music, her style is both catchy and soothing while her voice is a deep sea serenade through rich, expressive waters.
