When The Arbor was updated in Winter 2011, we went for a little more modern arbor feel and used rich tones and natural decor to bring in the local Nebraska City Arbor themes of trees, apples and wines. This cozy room offers a king size four poster iron bed with local apple crates as your nightstands.The extra large space also provides a daybed for hanging out as a couch, or to use it as an extra bed.  An antique library table serves as your desk.  Your 19” flat screen TV is connected to cable or gather around and watch a movie.  There is an electric fireplace for heat or just to add a little ambiance.

You’ll find an exposed limestone foundation wall along the stairway and a wooden support post in the middle of this downstairs room, both typical in Victorian Era construction. They both add a little character to the room and better yet, are holding up this old house.

There is a private bath with shower.  The Arbor adjoins to Victoria’s in case you’d like to take over the entire downstairs!

Rates are double occupancy and seasonal:  $119-134  (Includes a full gourmet breakfast for two.)
