Nebraskan singer/songwriter Orion Walsh has been involved in the independent music scene for over 10 years now. He self released two full length albums “Tornado Lullabies” in 2008, “The Hitchhiker’s Son” in 2010, and one EP, “Freedom Lost, Freedom Found” in 2009. He also released a full length album with major label distribution, “Farewell to the Familiar” in his previous band Slow Coming Day back in 2003. His accomplishments also include releasing several songs for multiple compilations. Walsh has been touring for the past 9 years now and is no stranger to the road. Several of his songs have been used on television and independent films, the most noteworthy being on “America’s Next Top Model” of international fame. He toured the U.S. and Europe extensively in support of his full length album “The Hitchhiker’s Son”, which was produced by AJ Mogis (Bright Eyes, Cursive, The Faint) in 2011 and then hit the road again in 2012 on the “For The Love of Music Tour” with his newest album “First By Water Then By Fire”. Expect to see more from this veteran folk singer in the years to come.
